Teknacool Web Design and Maintenance Terms & Conditions
Thank you for visiting Teknacool Marketing’s Web Design and Maintenance’s website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order for our website packages. By placing an order for one of the packages that is on offer, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Copyright
- Teknacool Marketing’s Design and Maintenance does not own the intellectual property rights of XHTML code, CSS code, and JavaScript code. This will be covered by Online Media Solutions the company Teknacool Marketing represents.
- The client owns the copyright of all material including images, graphics, or any other material supplied by the client
Quotes
All quotes supplied by Teknacool Web Design and Maintenance are valid for 2 months. If we have not received any information from the client within 2 months of the date of the quote, we will cancel the quote.
Deposit
A 50% deposit is required from any new client before the start of the project. Once a deposit is paid and work completed you are required to pay the balance in full within 7 working days. We will contact clients via email to remind them of such payments. If no work has been completed, the deposit will be refunded in full.
Website Design
- Online Media Solutions designs a Simple, Accessible, Usable, Low Cost and Affordable websites for small businesses and non-profit organisations.
- Online Media Solutions do not design database driven websites or Flash websites, however we can include some basic Flash animation on our designs to make your website more attractive and dynamic.
- We use PayPal Shopping Cart for online store websites.
- The website layout will be based on the client’s choice of templates.
- Teknacool Marketing’s Web Design and Maintenance link must remain in the footer area of the client’s website.
- We reserve the right to feature your website on our portfolio. We will also provide a link to your website.
- Search Engine Submission -- As part of our services, we will submit your website to major search engines and other business directories, however this does not guarantee a particular ranking in search results. We do not do search engine optimisation.
- Support -- Email support is provided for the lifetime of your website.
- Webstats -- webstats from Google Analytics is included in all the website packages.
Website Content
- It is the client’s responsibility to provide all content for the website and it should be sent as a word document with no more than one page per website page. We are not responsible for the content of your website
- All images must be saved as either JPEG, PNG, PDF, TIF or GIF. If you do not have images we can provide images to be used on the pages
- Desena Web Design reserves the right not to include any information supplied by the client if the information is inappropriate or offensive
Website Packages
Unless otherwise negotiated, website packages include the following:
- Silver Package:
- Gold Package: pages
- Ultimate Package: 10 pages
Website Maintenance
Website maintenance will become effective once we have sent you the Tax Invoice.
If you decide to maintain the website yourself, we will send you a CD-RW which contains all of your website files and instructions on how to set it up on your computer. Currently we charge $25.00/page for HTML updates.
Cancellation Rights
You have a right to cancel your order at any time. In the event of the cancellation you will be invoiced for any work completed to date. If no work was completed, you will not be charged.
Payment
Prices are subject to change without notice
- Once your website is complete and you are 100% satisfied, then we will send you a tax invoice. There will be no refund once payment has been completed
- All tax invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of the invoice date
- Desena Web Design and Maintenance reserves the right to remove client website from the Internet if full payment is not received within 7 days
- Payment of website updates, adding additional pages and update PayPal Shopping Cart must be paid in advance
- PayPal is our preferred method of payment, however if you want to pay by money order, cheque, or online banking transfer, we will send you our bank account details
Privacy Policy
This policy governs the use and disclosure by Teknacool Web Design and Maintenance of personal information of its users and how its users can access that information.
Desena Web Design and Maintenance collects or maintains your personal information on its database:
- Name
- Address
- Telephone Number
- Email Address
- Credit card details (if applicable)
All personal information submitted while placing an order will remain private and confidential. Any information provided will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed or used for any other purpose other than to process your order and follow up with you regarding your order. Desena Web Design and Maintenance will endeavour to keep your personal information as secure as reasonably possible.
The above personal information collected by Desena Web Design and Maintenance may be used for the following purposes:
- To administer its network;
- For billing purposes; and
- For any other purpose authorised by the Australian National Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988.
Spam Act 2003
Teknacool Web Design and Maintenance complies with Spam Act 2003. Teknacool Web Design and Maintenance only sends email to its clients and other users who have visited Teknacool Web Design and Maintenance’s website in the past and wanted to get more information about our web design services. If you feel you have received an email in error, please notify us.
